Why have we not put our pictures on Facebook or other community websites?

Our pictures are our own.  We want to control who can view them and retain ownership of them.  Community websites are in it to make money and as such, I don't trust them.  They change their license and user agreements regularly, and basically do what they want to do.  I also question their lack of security leading to identification theft.
